Transforming your envronment

On my way to work this morning, I was listening to a very influential speaker and spiritual leader and here is what I got out of his teaching. You can not transform the environment which controls you, unless you face it squarely. I thought to myself, what exactly does that mean? I had to rewind the DC several times until I got it down - which I eventually did!

When we are caught up in circumstances that drive us towards a direction we don't want to go to, we must recognize that and devise a way to get ourselves out of the web. Unless we can successfully do that, we become victims of our circumstances which consequently makes it impossible for us to transform our environments.

Just think about it this way;
1. If you're aware of what confines you, you can overcome it and
2. If you can escape it, you can transform it.

Wow! I'm learning something everyday and sure want to get wiser as I age - otherwise it's just a lot of numbers on a dead head.

Blessings!

You hold the keys to your success!

Hello and welcome to my blog! When I was growing up at the hills of Matetani village, I never thought in a million years that I'd ever find myself sitting down, to encourage others through a BLOG! Men and women, young and old alike need someone to motivate them and tell them that things are brighter than they look.

I look forward to inspiring you with story of my life and those that I've met along the way.

"For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord; plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah. 29:11."

Many people attribute success and failure to childhood influences and circumstances. While this may carry some truth, the most influential person in your life is you. If you determine to make it in life, you will view obstacles as opportunities. Sometimes when we lack motivation as children, our minds can easily become fertile grounds for doubt, mediocrity and lack of inspiration.

It is imperative to take control of your life/destiny as soon as you realize where you are vs where you want to go. Seek relationships with people who have been to your intended destination or are headed there. This could help you from falling into the dark pit of despair, mediocrity and low self esteem. We are often likely to be influenced by our peers and surroundings - choose yours wisely!

God did not create failures and fortunately you happen to be one of those whom he created in His own image. I was fortunate to have had a strong moral and Christian foundation as a young girl. Although I did not completely escape the trap of mediocrity, I was determined to rise above my surroundings. If you can conceive it, you can achieve it - SUCCESS IS YOURS FOR THE ASKING!
